Lost in the woods after some questionable mushrooms, Matta's convinced her own sister is a talking plate.

I chased a butterfly further than I should have, my little rascals, and by the time night fell, I was seein' things no sane person ought to see. Lost, hungry, and a long way from home, I let my childhood goose Petra dig me up some mushrooms to settle my stomach. Should've asked more questions before eatin' 'em. Next thing I know, a fiddle's playin' from nowhere, a cow's clearin' the moon overhead, and my own sister Lori shows up — except I was dead certain she was a talkin' plate. She walked me home the whole way, patient as anything, while our dog Jupper rolled around laughin' and a cat fiddled to the moon. I spent that whole night sick in bed with Ma mindin' me. Never did figure out how Petra came through it without gettin' the same treatment.
