Lord Mayor's Deadly Secret Preys on Town's Herds

As Told to the Westler Valley Voice by Matta A. Rhymes

FARMER MACDONALD'S FARM, WESTLER — Oh, my little rascals, we do so love our family, don't we? I am absolutely no exception to that rule as I talk about my wonderful Uncle Mac. You may know him as Old MacDonald. I did promise to tell you about my now famous uncle.

What many of you don't know is Mac was short for Macaroy and Donald was his middle name that he chose to go by. Ma was his older sister, and the only one allowed to call him Mac. Bein' that I am his older sister's youngest daughter, I got to call him Mac too.

Uncle Mac was the best sort of person. Always jolly, hence why you'd hear him singin' around the farm. He sang when he was milkin'. He sang when he was feedin'. Though, his absolute favorite time to sing is when he was out plowin' the fields.

The song most commonly heard was a tune he made up on his own about a couple of his farm animals. 'EI' was his prize pig and 'O' was his favorite cow. And though it's hard to get your head wrapped around it, EI & O had the most unusual friendship. They were like the best friends and trouble all mixed into one.

One day, when I was on my way home from a good think down by the crick, I saw O hangin' near the fence and mooin' up a storm. Wasn't sure what was wrong, just that she seemed all agitated. Her head flicked up and down as she continually bumped the fence with her hind-parts.
