AMERISTA'S HOUSE, OUT OF TOWN — Today, I've decided to start this season off with a story that just happened to me! I went on a little trip to my friend Amerista's house. Because she lives half a day away, Petra chose to stay home because she is a butter dutter.
When I arrived in the early evening, Amerista warned me that there was a grandfather clock right outside my room that rang on the hour. What she failed to mention at the time was that the clock's companion had an overwhelmin' urge to make about as much noise as the clock itself.
Oh, and did I mention that he commonly liked to visit my room as well?
So, picture this, if you will… I was layin' in this lavish guest-room; all curled up under the warm, fluffy blanket; the rain tinkled against the window. When suddenly, I hear somethin' glass shatter on the floor followed by a —
