Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favorite of all fairy tales. Mostly because it's not about what he looked like but what he acted like. I think how a person behaves is paramount.
It's not a wonder that this was the first story I chose to write. Let me tell you, even though I came up with the story and put it down at the age of 16, I had no idea what I was doing... I could spell my way out of a paper bag and I knew nothing of writing.
It took a lot of work and practice to get where I am now. All that being said, it was worth it to get these stories into the hands of fans because you deserve to hear them.
Just to let you know, I base all my novels off the original tales and not some version someone else told. I try to go to the source. This website I found, I think does a pretty good job of letting you read the original take so that is where I will connect you.
